Thanks Albertese-san, Jim-san.

Jim-san,

Oops, sorry had my eyes closed... :lol

Katsu-san,
even on a bigger screen it looks great. As always.
Not too many lines and colours.

Can't wait to see the ship logo and the patch mark .

Jim

Both the Explorer and the shuttle (which was such a great surprise) are looking beautiful.

Now you have me wondering if the mother ship would land and leave the Explorer, or if there was a dedicated landing ship to bring it down... ;)

Whichever one it is, this genius needs to build it next lol.

Dry brushing, washing with an enemel paint and thin brush and cotton sticks.
Those are aged technique by now. May be I should lean any new technique.

:lol The blank decal sheet for laser printer was arrived yesterday.
I will fix the design and feed it to the laser copy machine at the convenient store in a few days.

Nice paint! And I'm digging the shuttle.
How in the world do you work so fast? It's mind boggling...

Thank you, Axlotl-san.

I will try vacuforming for the canopy this time.
I made a plug already. I hope I can make it.

Thank you, Tom-san.
I was thinking there is an unmanned deploying /recovering craft for this
and a ....... Hey! I'm not going to build anything like that anymore.:lol

Whichever one it is, this genius needs to build it next lol.

Oh, no,no,no! Tom-san ! That's what I'm afraid of!

At least four big thrusters will be in need for the deploying/recovering craft.
And a large container and big hull to hold it. And some stiff landing gears.

No, no way.......:facepalm

Haven't checked in here in a while...and wow, this thing is just insane. Great job. I already have good ideas that I can do with it in photoshop.

Well, if the Explorer is pressurized, you could deploy and recover it like this:

(only more science-fictiony)

Wow, thanks jediMichael-san! So that I can see your graphic magic soon.

That's really inspiring !! 'Skycrane'
I love those big helicopter. CH-53 is my favolite.

Of course the vehicle is 100m water proof and pressurized hull.
So it can carry with the craft like this and I ......... No no no

Thanks, Tom-san.
I drew some scketch yesterday. It will be on my 'wish to build list' for sure.

By the way, in accordance with the request from my financial minister, I will start to build the decoration object upon the wall above the fireplace.
This was postponed almost a year ever since the order. It will be a semi 3D industrial cityscape in 4 feet square windowframe.
I've already bought some materials.
I will post up when I'm ready.

Ooooh that sounds awesome. Cannot wait to see it!

Thanks, friends,

Here's a original emblem.

I drew this with MS Excel and convert to PDF and fed to the laser printer.
I studied Hopi's art and some design of their symbol.

Here's a solution.

It's abit late at night but I put them on the vehicle. It's kind a test fitting.

I hope you like it.

Phew...
