Pepakura Proton Pack Build (Pic heavy) UPGRADES!

Once again, Alan, inspirational build! (I just joined here too, good to see you!)

Your build(s) are what got me doing pepakura in exactly the same manner! Rock on, man.

This is incredible!!! I have a friend that started his proton pep then kinda abandoned it. Guess I'll be showing him this thread to get him back in gear. I personally love pep, especially when taken to the extreme, as you've done here. Great work again.

I had a bit of a major upgrade this last month. Namely the Throwing Chicken thrower kit, gbfans light kit and some aluminum knobs from Multimedia Mayhem -







I also got the Spongeface (gbfans.com) expansion kit for the bar graph and tip light.



The tip expansion kit is a flat disc that is the same OD as the thrower tip. So I came up with a solution to hold both the tip and the LED and a future way to extend the acrylic tip with the green lever.



I love styrene... Add a old container from some epoxy.



A little epoxy to firm things up...







I got some 1/8" brass bar for the amazingly low price of $2.50 for three feet! YAY!





Added my aluminum knobs.



Real Clippard (I got one for the pack too.)



I wanted to have my grips be brown so a little creative painting was required.



Some "Satin Caramel" spray paint..



And some brite silver for the rest.



Here is the rear grip after a little weathering.



Applied my dry rubbed transfers.





Lenses.



Lens for the vent light.





Decked out TC's tip adapter with some air conditioning tape.
