Great work!! Are you going to tackle Boromir's at some point too?

A Boromir shiled might be on my list. But next I was thinking about making a Uruk-Hai helmet to go with the shield next.

The shield is done. I put a little JB weld around the back edges of the shield and along the center of the back to give it a little bit more strength. And I also used JB weld to make some brackets and put them on the back of the shield for the chaines.

I used red primer, and black stain. I dabbed the black stain onto the shield with a rolled up paper towel. I think I got the look I was going for. I'm not going to do anything with the back. It's only going on the wall.

I might put the white hand of Saruman on it tonight. I haven't made up my mind yet.

I have decided to make a full scale Uruk-Hai. I will be making the helmet next.

Here is the final picture of the shield, with a nice and sloppy hand of Saruman.
