A few weeks ago I snapped a photo of just about every model kit, 3d resin statue, my first kitbash and every quick build I have completed since around 2017. I was a bit surprised at how much it was. Sometimes I feel like I'm cranking out one project every 6 months lol, I know some amazing builders here that do mind boggling fast, incredible work and I think I'm a turtle in comparison. Anyways thought I'd share, I'm proud of every thing here, and I've learned tons watching others, getting feedback and visiting this forum.

P.S - Since this photo was taken, I've also completed my 1:700 US Destroyer and am also currently juggling a few more projects (repainting my old Mpc 1:48 X-wing and others). As always, thanks for looking!

It is
Those are some impressive figures!

Is the scratch build that hover bike thing in the back? That is really cool looking
Thank you! And good eye! It's 100% kit bashed (my first ever attempt), it was my entry for Archive X speeder bike competition back in late 2020. I made the cut for the final 10th or 12th but didn't make the final 3. Regardless, it was so much fun, and even though I didn't win I'm super proud of it and my custom bounty hunter I made for it. You can see more of it here:

Thanks!

Just finished this 1/5 piece 5 1/2 years after buying it lol. I think later I will go back and add in a treasure chest, some skulls and give her holster attached to her leg/side. I've also debated creating some kind container filled with clear blue resin to sink her in so she's actually in what appears to be water, but that would take a lot of test runs before I attempt that. Overall I'm pretty pleased with it, there's still a few minor things I want to correct but for now I'm content enough to cross it off my list. Thanks for looking!

Since the Bandai B-wing is conveniently built for engine lights, I bought a red LED light that fits behind the engines which slides out easily, I'll take pics tonight but here's a link if you want a crappy cell video: Link

In the meantime, I cranked out this tiny Millennium Falcon made by Bandai in about 2 days, I believe it's 1/350 scale. I guess this is my slow progression to the PG 1/72 which one day I'll have with courage to tackle lol next up will be the 1/144 Falcon which I'm slowly gathering parts for a ANH conversion. In the meantime here's my tiny 1/350 Falcon:

Just some quick cellphone photos of my Bandai 1/144 AT-AT with Snowspeeder diorama as seen during the Battle of Hoth. I might redo the wire one day. It was pretty difficult to find a wire thin enough to support the speeder. Might try dental wiring to see if it's any thinner but stronger one day. Thanks for looking!

Great work.

Nice pics as well. Those angles really make it feel much bigger than it is
Thank you! And yeah this thing is tiny lol I'll get the lightbox out and take some better pics maybe this weekend. Also might trying guitar string to replace my current wire, see if it's any stronger and also thinner. I never truly finish any project lol

thinner yes, but it may be hard to get it stay in shape in those big round arcs as it will want to straighten out unless you put a sharp angled bend in it

what you could try is annealing it

basically heating with a torch until it is red hot, but not melting, getting it in shape using a jig (made with nails or similar) or even a large pipe and then quenching in hot water so hardens and retains the desired shape

Wow thanks Analyzer, I never even considered that method. That's absolutely fantastic. I might get thinner wire and try that method.

sorry I guess I should clarify annealing will help it bend in shape, but annealing is also meant to slowly cool keeping it softer/more bendable, but I think you actually want a tempering/quenching process which is the same, but a rapid cool which makes it harder/less bendy

Would submerging the wire in hot or cold water be preferable?

Hmmm, let's remove that stand:
