ok, finally back on this puppy...got to get the skin really smooth as I have decided to try vinyl wrapping it. I have tried a few paints and even polishing cold cast metal resin but they are all a bit disappointing really...not believably metal. so a few more passes of bodywork and then cut in the panel lines, 2k clear coat and then the vinyl...fingers crossed

Very impressive! With a few minor tweaks, that shape might make a great racing hull (as in 'water'...ha!)

OK, after many more weeks of pressing on with this project, she is finally coming to an end...got the main ship done apart from the windshield and both wings, which will be fitted on final assembly. Also both engines complete except for add-on stuff like power convertors, to be fixed on later. That leaves both engine tails and main tail to do, so 2/3 more weeks and she's off the Outpost One in Germany;
