noooo do not sand it the pva will crak if you want to fill the gaps i personnaly use a product name DAP its some kind of acrylic with silicon after pva primer and paint 1 coat of primer 2-3 coat of paint and 1 coat of clear coat

my new sealing techniqe is 6 layer of diluted pva glue and 1 layer of straight

i used after pva ; before priming
and i use DAP acrylic latex clauk plus silicone

UPDATE HERE !!!!
so i sealed most of the suit
my technique work soooo nicely
also i redid the biceps the upper flaps the shoulders cod and i made butt plates and front thigh plates
left to do
neck boots joints and sealing the chest back abs brace
also the helmet in the picture is for sale cuz its too smal and the pepped one is the one i am doing at this moment
also here are some pics of the result of painting qith my technique (its alot better and shinier for real)

so have you painted and finished anything yet? I'm interested to know how it turns out!

It's hard to imagine that being very flexible, and not cracking after painting and finishing. The true test would be 3-4 days after the paint curing too. I'd love to see your results! great job on the build man
