Graflex 2.0 Sabers - Show your work / Talk Electronics

The most common type of connector for these builds are JST connectors...

These are helpful in modular systems with prewired wiring harness....

The harness system may not be as useful if using Goth's 3D printed chassis as it requires such small wire (28-30AWG) but can be used when building your own chassis with acrylic chassis discs...

Yep, I'm not sure if I'd use JST for exactly those reasons. I'd have to get the parts first and start looking at what can fit where, but there looks to be a tiny bit of room on the main chassis shell that might support it.

I saw that VV has the heat sink. I'm hopeful by the time April rolls around they'll have restocked or before then. I'm not in a huge rush. Want to complete this before dragon con for the wife's Rey build.

So-cal Saber Service has a nice two part build log using chassis discs and the NB2+pex...

Just read through all of that...pretty helpful to bad alot of the parts are out of stock....but very helpful in the wiring department.

This is definitely the right direction to go for guys looking at how to build their first sabers. I'll keep my eye out for stock openings at TCCS and plecterlabs

I was at the plecterlabs website and looking at the Pico Crumb soundboard as well.... Looks to be a great choice for beginner budget builds that don't need all the "bells and whistles".... Now when that is in stock again....

The Graflex shop still has blade adapters in stock, you just have to order from their site directly instead of through TCCS, in case you guys didn't know. I've never seen that blade adapter posted above

My 1 inch adapter arrived from VV today. Here are some pics with the heatsink and the optional Aux switch...

I was under the impression that the blade adapters from TGS and TCSS currently only fit vintage and replica graflex flash guns and will not fit the 2.0 kit from Korbanth/Parks....

I have no idea how it is supposed to be held in place... Since I decided on the NB3, I guess I don't have to worry about it.

What speaker is everyone using? I'm stationed overseas and my local navy exchange has ihome mini speakers. Will one of those work for a lightsaber ?

messaged a friend who makes Aluminum Fett parts to see if he'd be able to make the heat sink since the saber shop on etsy stopped...anyone have measurements for the heatsink?
