Galileo Restoration Update

"Partial replica"? Never heard of such a thing. There are restorations, and there are replicas, this is a restoration, no other correct way to look at it. True, the skin had to be replaced, as sadly happens in many restorations. Sure, it would be great to be 100% original, but that is not always possible. I'm with CessnaDriver on this one,(great analogy BTW)

And kudos to the team doing the work!

Ya know guys, 6 to one half a dozen to another.

As a fan, I'm glad to see someone had the funds and love enough to restore or recreate using original parts/ pieces. It goes back to the car restoration theory. Once in a blue moon do we find a classic all original and MINT an still a "virgin". Most the time we find the remains of once was and strip and start fresh using original parts sure, but the new out numbers original parts by far. Frame off resto for a 69 Roadrunner in the end it's still a 69 Roadrunner restored, as this great piece will be too.

Using the pieces of the original that could be used and saved as in ALL restoration projects. Whether its cars, houses, clothing and yes even screen used props.
