Strangely, in his biography Harryhausen stated Earth vs the Flying Saucers was his least favorite of the movies he worked on. :confused

Probably because there were fewer moving parts to adjust EVERY frame.....lol.

And very little anthropomorphic movement to impart to the saucers. Even if he animated any aliens, they were stilted and lumbering in their spacesuits. No challenge.
