EXORCIST: BELIEVER (2023 Sequel)

Ellen Burstyn is returning as Regan's mother. Not sure if this'll reference Exorcist III or not, but this is a direct sequel to the first by the director of the last 3 HALLOWEEN films. As he did in those, they may just be ignoring all sequels.

I Sure hope they don't go with possession is a virus, like they did Evil is a virus in Halloween ends.
That was awful. Don't hold out much hope this will be any good considering the
care that's taken with story development in Hollywood these days.

actually I just saw it, it was streaming, it was okay, would've been better if gorier and needed more of the mom from first movie, I think director was trying for subtle, but I needed cheap thrills
