Just saw this thread, looks cool! To me in the screen grabs above, the bar on the edge looks a lot like unfinished 3D printed black.

I confess I'm a little confused why the bar was changed to have a single notch. The references still seem to me like they have one lower edge and a raised side like the original thinking... You can't see that when his thumb is on it because it covers the change in height, but in Leia's hand it seems like there are two sizes...
