Dead Space 2 Plasma Cutter

For the release of Dead Space 2 in 2011 they are making a Special Edition of the game that comes with a replica of Issac's Plasma Cutter from the game.

I'd love to have that but it probably adds 30.00 to the cost of the game like the pipboy did to Fallout 3.

I reckon scaled down. It's $128 over here. So cant be anything to big considering most games are at the $100 mark for brand new.

Sucks though.

Lets wait how they handle things here in Europe, with 1:1 Plasmacutter I have to take it... Smaller, is cool, but I like to have only 1:1 props...

Thats why I never bought the Aliens vs. Predator collection with Facehugger...

That's pricey and looks cheaply painted for a "miniature" gun.

Regardless of size, at least it's got good detail, so we can at least create one from scratch. It might not be actual 1:1 scale, but it's proportional, so you would just need to measure all the parts and blow them up 2 or 3 times. Should work at least lol

I definately need to go preorder ahhh. I should beat the first one first though haha.

Don't know if you know but there is a replica from the first Dead Space cutter along the same scale here for $50...

Wait your character's name is Isaac Clarke?!? Why have I never heard of this game?

And looking at it, it might be relatively simple to make a full size version -- so long as you have a pistol kit part for the grip. Getting detailed blueprints of the business end is a little tricky.

The first game was absolutely a blast, Sci-fi, space horror FPS, I played it through three times back to back.

It is too bad that it's scaled down, because I think it's a pretty neat design and would be cool to have in a sci-fi weapons collection.

I found a pep file that could be used as a basic pattern. Have to make sure i still have it. I preordered this finally.
