Cassian Andor (Andor Series) Boot Knife

Cassian's boot knife from Episode 4 of Andor. Kind of like a straight karambit (not sure if there's a correct term for a straight karambit?). Is this already a known item in the SW universe?

Looks to be just a skeletonized Karambit boot knife, similar to a Schrade model I've seen. I don't remember ever seeing it before in SW but that means zip.

Just a quick look on Amazon, Masalong and Canku have some very similar that are either missing the flat angle vs. the curve or are the wrong blade type. This was filmed a couple years ago so it might be a chore to track it downn.

Yes, there were around 8 made, all done from water cut aluminium, then sharpened and polished.

Mmm no… it’s a karambit. Definitely not a traditional one. But that’s like saying modern straight edge or folding karambits aren’t karambits. More and more of them are less and less curved. If it looks like a karambit and feels like a karambit. It’s a karambit. It’s a ringed blade with a bend in it (usually) the SOCP by benchmade is a karambit , so is the Civivi Orthrus

Hey all! With the new photo I finally have enough reference to start work on some metal replicas as I've had a few people request them. The design is pretty much finalized, just wanted to get some input on sizing. I'm thinking it's somewhere between 5 and 6 inches in length?
