Billy Book Case lighting recommendations

I'm planning to purchase three IKEA Billy Bookcases with glass doors for prop display. I want to install LED strip lighting under each shelf. I want the lighting to be powered by a wall outlet and have remote control. I'm no electrician. Can anyone point to a simple solution you have done, an existing light kit for this or step-by-step instructions for the novice?
