Kept working on the details of the handle.
Quite a work here too...also, discovered that the "rings" around the handle...are not..rings...it's a SPIRAL! They're all connected...GOSH...this is going to be impossibile

MOre updates.
worked on the final piece of the butt of the handle. Tomorrow I'll go looking for the screws, but I should find them. I worked on the spiral metallic trim on the computer and the last pic shows how it should lay on the handle. There are 9 "V"s on one side and 9 on the other side.

That should work good
It's going to be VERY VERY fun to cut that 90 cm spiral out of 1mm sintra......

Wow! A spiral? I noticed some pics that the rings look askew and looked like the top and bottom rings attach to the bases. Any good pics available of the back of the handle? So the avengers handle does not have any lacing, right?

So the new panels are in. In about a week we should get our own laser cutter. Nice toy, can do stuff like this:





and here is yet another mockup.




When we get our laser cutter I'll make the spiral trim.
As for now, I don't have one available since I've tried a few and it's not quite right

im not sure if this has been asked or not but what are you using to get those awesome clean cuts?

Xacto knife. Some other with a bandsaw, some others with a scroll saw. They're all need refining though. As for the panel with the nordic thing on it, we used a laser cutter (computer controlled)

I just finished making a Thor Hammer for my son as he love the Movie Thore so much. I made it in 2 days, as ofcourse he wanted to play with it and did not want to wait for weeks :lol

I'm afraid to show, because it's way out of spec, but my son thinks I'm the best and he is happy with it so...

Maybe I'll try it again, but more in line with the original.

Well, great things about props is that, unless you're not an accuracy freak like me, you can do whatever you feel and want! It only matters if your son is happy with it
So great job! A happy son means more than a satisfied accuracy freak ahahhaha
