AMT '89 Batmobile Chrome Removal

Agree with rbreach84. I use an Xacto first is the mold seam is large and follow up with a sanding stick. Sometimes it can be hard with a knife if the tire is on the soft side. Start with a fresh blade, being careful not to make gouges in the tread.

Thanks for the info, guys.

I started to use exacto to remove excess, decided to hold off to make sure that was best approach (I couldn't visualize another way to do it, but I've learned to research before rushing in). Also learned to use a fresh blade early on when I took up the hobby, makes things far easier & cleaner.

Since front tire has Goodyear on the sidewall and rear tires do not, I think this time around I will turn front sidewalls with text inward so all four tires will match.

Thanks again.
