6 foot N-1 Naboo Starfighter restoration

be careful with the Rubbermaid idea, that stuff is damn near impossible to get glue to stick, you can do it, but you need to really ruff up the areas that you want the glue to go, i have used really ruff sand paper all the way up to just a big knife creating long deep score marks in order to increase the surface area that the glue can adhere to.

no rule that says you need to use plastic, could always use basswood or balsa wood, both are light and easy to form to your needs, that and i think it would be cheaper than buying and butchering a bunch of plastic containers

That's true, I just have not used wood and plastic together and have no experience with the longevity of it. Would I be able to bend it into a circle so that is equally distributes pressure on the sides?
