Good day, I was wondering if anyone might be able to help on just a weird random question. Seems like this would be the place to ask, most of you being the artists that design what ends up out in the world! Question is, I have a 2004 NECA 15" Eric Draven figure (picture supplied, it's the one on the left). I'm just curious if anyone would know why it would say production sample on the bottom, being a purchased new, online (be it 20 or so years ago) product. I'm not going to claim I know what a production sample is, but from what I've seen, they are mostly prototypes, or limited run stuff for demos, store front, etc? Thanks for any info! I appreciate it. It's mainly the curiosity. I've had it almost 20 years, and never noticed it!
