Has anyone seen photos of the Efx booth at SDCC?

yes, that is the only item I have any interest in. The Darth Talon lightsaber looks cool, but I am sort of over lightsabers for the moment. Not to say I can't be swayed if the right one comes along. Besides, would LFL approve an item from a EU character that as far as it stands right now, does not exist?

Yeah I was wondering why an EU character's lightsaber would get approved when the character is effectively nonexistent. Of course I've seen artists take fan lightsabers and put them in SW art, so who knows if it get's transferred to someone else.

Just because they show it, does not mean it is going to get made. At first glimps, I was hoping it a was a Gungi Lightsaber replica.

I just wonder if they are saving anything for a reveal on Friday or Saturday like Hasbro.

Any sign or news on the Boba helmet?

Just read on another forum that it's not there. That's disappointing to say the least. I am, however, very excited by what I see with that 1:1 Stormtrooper. My only fear is that given their time to production on these things I'll die before they ever release it. :(

My thoughts are EFX shouldn't be rolling out new products until they can bring the product to market they teased us with years ago. They are kind of like Hot Toys, they are always announcing new figures and licenses, yet many of them never see the light of day, or when they do, it's YEARS later.

What does EFX do on a daily basis? Nothing?!

Get to work.

Did they ever release much Star Trek stuff? Feels like they're wasting their licenses, they move so slowly with everything. I might just forget about the Fett and try to get a FPH2 or something.

Their SDCC presence appears somewhat lacklustre.
No product reveal, no Fett, no "Legend" Biker Scout and pistol display for interested parties to peruse...

I wish...

...they would make some blasters (and not just as a pack-in).
...they would do some of the smaller prop replicas (droid callers, comlinks, etc...).
...that not everything had to be a Limited Edition and come with case and plaque.
...that those items with plaque holders had some sort of end caps on them so that that the plaque stopped sliding out.
...look into MR items that are still in large demand by collectors and release a similar product with their take on the item.
...abs (stunt) X-Wing rookie helmets (no attached emblems) but decal sheet is included so buyer can create their own designs.

I'm hoping that some of these things are in the works. In the Anovos thread, there was mention that there was a possible collaboration with eFx to develop items that would compliment the specific costumes being offered.

I know this post might come off negative but I am always supportive of the company. I have several items from eFx in my collection and I love them. But when I see more Imperial Trooper helmets or more lightsabers, it just seems like they are in a rut. Not saying they should stop, but just offer more variety in their offerings. That's why I am excited about the Yoda. However I have a feeling when the price is announced, I will be less excited (aka... the Sideshow effect). :cry

And hey... how about an RC Mouse Droid. :D
