The Walking Dead Season 4

seriously a clip a magazine what's the difference? other than what you prefer it to be called

It makes a difference because they're actually two different things, a clip is something that can be used to load a magazine or a weapon but not vice versa. On a magazine fed weapon a stripper clip can be used to load the magazine and then chucked but they can't feed directly from a clip. Furthermore, a clip is just a simple piece of metal and is open on at least 2 sides whereas a magazine is only open at the top and the rounds sit on a plate with a spring underneath.

If you marksmen guys really want to knit pick, why was the guy that called himself a tank driver not actually driving the tank?

I could be mistaken but I don't think he said that he was a tank driver specifically, just a tanker which means that he would have been trained how to do everything in tank from driving, to loading the main gun to actually firing it. I'm guessing that he was acting as the tank commander and gunner and had trained 2 others to act as the driver and the loader. That would pretty much be standard US tank SOP where you start as the loader, then you move on to become a driver, then gunner, and then finally the vehicle commander.

Hershel's gone. I think Judith may be gone (did anyone see any blood in that baby carrier like I did?), the Governor finally put down (by a Lilly, no less). And the prison is gone.

I'm pretty sure Judith is dead too. I was disappointed they didn't make her death the trigger for the Governor's though. I'm annoyed that Hershel is dead, but he wouldn't have lasted long outside the prison. It always comes down to running eventually. As for why no one just took a shot at the Governor, if the prison group had initiated a firefight then they'd have felt the Governor was right. Letting the Governor be the one to take the first action by killing Hershel put him on the wrong side.

Also, while the filing cabinet cover was just ridiculous, Darryl using a squishy ripe walker as a body shield wouldn't work either. Those high power rifle rounds would have gone through the walker like melted butter.

No a compensator doesn't effect accuracy. It actually helps one get back on target faster. People who shoot quality AK's love them. If your sights are aligned properly then your grouping is always spot on as with any rifle. Even when rapidly pulling the trigger at 100-200 yards with iron sights.

This is like saying a brake on an M1-A screws up accuracy... lol Wait... but that helps reduce the .308 recoil! Oh my.

it is frigging slang man even a stripper clip is slang and due to the out dated almost non-use of them now a clip a magazine same same . you still have to know what weapon the magazine/clip is for to get the right one . you cant walk into a gun store and say give me a clip for an ak and they hand you a stripper clip for lets say an sks and again its a stripper clip which is how the slang got started in the first place . everyone knows what you mean

its called a banana clip not a banana magazine.

how am I the crazy one when I got a dude thinks a chain link fence is bullet proof , someone else telling me that the set up I got on my AK doesn't work .and now were are nit picking slang. and we got 22 pages of people picking apart everything about the show." I don't like the dual story line" . things like that . all im saying is rick and his little band might want to spend just a little tiny bit of time fortifying there fort and maybe just maybe teach the Woodbury crew how to fight. and I got nothing to do today so I am answering back .

It's not slang. A magazine is a magazine, a clip is a clip as in M1 grands used them. And to re-tard an AK by removing specific "key" components says you have more problems than what you originally thought.

O.K. everybody went from not knowing anything about weapons to being gun snobs .

if anybody ask me to hand them a magazine im handing them a woman's weekly.

so do you drive a car or must it be called an automobile ?

do you go to the movies or must it be called the cinema?

those are not kids playing in the park there children ? oh look there I am on the swing having fun .

and what the hell is a FUDD ?

This thread has gone off of the cliff.

Sigh.

Can someone tell me how the ignore feature works?

A Fudd official urban dictionary definition:
Slang term for a "casual" gun owner; eg; a person who typically only owns guns for hunting or shotgun sports and does not truly believe in the true premise of the second amendment. These people also generally treat owners/users of so called "non sporting" firearms like handguns or semiautomatic rifles with unwarranted scorn or contempt.

im sorry science confuses you .

but seriously besides the fact that I can go to the range take the equipment on and off my rifle and see the same results in round placement time and time again . and the fact my friend never shot his AK cuz it was not accurate and whalla take the little part off and its strait and true .obviously means nothing to you .

how does gas pushing down on the bottom of the slanted barrel attachment force the barrel down yet the bullet caught in the same kinetic energy wave stay unaffected im sorry it is science . and proved in the field.
and truthfully I know nothing of a brake on a MA-1 so im will have to accept that you are right on that .

and who is uninformed and melting down ?

im just answering back man . I usually let everyone have there opinions but a basic law of physics taught to "children" all over the world . not to mention personal experience and you like nope, nope that's impossible .
