Can't wait. They're a vice of mine and the new direction they're taking with the films (with the heist storylines) makes them more entertaining than just being car porn.
As long as they make em, I'll keep watching them. The first few were fun and totally played on the street racing craze that was the rage back then and now they're going in a different direction is awesome to keep it fresh.
And Tokyo Drift is my favorite of the series. I love drifting and I simply loved the Silvia S15 and the Veilside RX-7 that was in it.
Spoiler regarding Han:There isn't a continuity problem in the series. At least not technically. The 3rd "Tokyo Drift" movie is still the last movie in the timeline as far as I know. When they restarted the franchise with #4, they set it in between #2 and #3. They have continued this timeline in #5,6,7 as far as I know.
Fast And Furious is a guilty pleasure of mine as well.
Even though I was once a tuner myself, I've always hated many parts of the first one especially the part when they're talking about SR20 motors being stolen out of Hondas. And a Ferrari F355 F1 losing to a Supra Turbo. I don't care how modified the Supra was, I call pure bull. The floor panel falling off the Eclipse and a myriad of other little things I nitpick about the other films in the series. And still, I go and watch them when they're released to theaters just like I'll go and watch the new one.

uh, that supra was pulling over 700hp. those supras are called dyno queens for a reason.
Ive driven both those Ferraris, the F1 355 is respectable but not as fast as that level Supra and the 348 is a piece of wood. It's totally realistic. The fasted one I ever drove was a 1989 TR with Twin Turbos. That was fast.Actually, that particular MKIV Supra was at dynoed 544 horse without the 100 shot laughing gas. Then you add the electronics to weigh it down and no way it would beat a F355 F1 in stock trim or the 348 that they also used in that scene in a 1/4 mile or even one mile drag.
