Been hovering about following this thread for a while now. I put together a quick and dirty Hawkeye Shield version with my tactical gear and a toy bow I found. Still need to make the quiver and I now have the vest but for a small con it did the job.
Hope you like

Not bad for throwing it together! Man you look the part!
I deffinately think that Hawkeye has the hardest suit to replicate.... I like to go as accurate as possible but this one is gonna take some compromizing
It's amazing that everything else in the V0/V1 costumes was off-the-shelf except the glove. I'm still wondering if we've missed something.
That said, here's a stab at a custom-made 'screen inspired' glove.
WOW!! Looks great!! I'm thinking of just going with one of the 2 I posted earlier since my skills are ehh at best LOL.
Oh speaking of V1 Hawkeye, the mailman delivered my AEG H&K P30 and my Blackhawk holster. Need to heat the holster up a bit to get the gun to fit.
I'll post pics later
Sorry if this is answered somewhere else, but did anyone figure out what a good dup for the maroon fabric would be/where it can be purchased? I'm doing something Avengers-themed and would like to get as close as possible to the movie fabric. Thanks!
I think that's as close as we can get for now. I started my pattern and for the general "correct look" the burgundy fits the bill. I've read a lot of posts all over about the fabric being completely custom (along with the BW and Cap fabrics), nothing confirmed but probably more than likely correct, so we may never nail it down.
But I would be up for contributing to a custom order if someone with the know how and resource contacts was up for it.
Here's the prelim pics. I've since added the shield logo, enhanced the bow, customized teh glove and guard and added some really great blackhawk warrior pants.
I'll try to post more when I can.
Here's a look at the back of the 2nd glove, at the bottom of the pic. [check out that first bow!]

nice looking costume Warrior Po8!
Just came back to this thread and caught up on all the posts. Great job guys.
Anyone have a screen cap of the black of V1 Quiver?
I remember there was a scene in the movie where you can see it pretty well. Looked like a flat oval quiver either made of heavy black canvas or leather. No arrow tubes inside, thats why all the arrows leaned to the one side distorting the shape of the top of the quiver. And if it was leather it was flexible not the heavy wax boiled leather SCA peeps use. It also had a flat oval bottom not tapered (opening and bottim same flat oval).
I am looking for someone making arrow tips? I am in the process of making the V2 quiver. I know it was CNC but I am going a different route
I am also looking for the maroon material on the V2 Quiver. I thought it might be red carbon fiber. What do you all think?

Suit looks great warrior! I like those juliet shades too... I dont think anyone has touched on the actual shades used in the hi res photos... So here they are Oakley Infinite Hero Split Jacket Sunglasses available at the online Oakley store
Im still trying to convince myself that they are neccessary to complete the suit but its a lot of money... Espc when I have always wanted the black and ruby Juliets pictured in Warriors but never committed. Let me know what ya'll think?
new to the whole sewing thing, but can any give some advise on starting to sew/put together the V2 vest? Is there any patterns out there to help with the basic shapes?
The models used were the Oakley "wind jackets", for the promotional shots and art work. The "O", gasket and strap have been airbrushed out on the photos but you can see the areas where it's too "clean" and there's a lighter edge around his brow from the missing gasket. The wind jackets are Oakleys' eyewear answer for motorcycle riders due to an added rubber gasket and elastic head strap that can be removed from the glasses and then you have just a normal pair of split jackets. The purple hue you see comes from the positive red lenses that are optional for the glasses. You get the same thing on some of the iridium lenses but see it most on the red lenses.
I own the X-Men Juliets and the wind jackets; both are great, but I only wear the wind jackets on my bike. The juliets imho are just better glasses and worth the $.
My opinion on the sunglasses:
You all know that there's a huge difference in what looks right and what FITS right.
Be careful with Oakley sunglasses. Make sure you try them on before just flat out buying them. They are my favorite sunglass company, but they have very very specific styles to fit very very specific face shapes.
I love the juliets so much more than the other frames. They fit my face, since i don't have the roundness that Renner has for the splits jackets.
I think the purple in the hero version sunglasses is too purple. They'd be great if we were going for more of a comic book Hawkeye, especially for the Ultimates, but since his movie costume has more of a maroonish purple, I'd stick with the ruby or the red iridiums.
Gonna be working on fiixing up my symatex boots this weekend, and waiting on graphic jordan's awesome urethane shield patch.
Anybody find anyone who is ACTUALLY doing a quiver instead of just saying they are?
For the V1 quiver, I just used a SWAT shotgun sheath like this one.:

I think it looks cool with all of my new Blackhawk Warrior gear, and it's pretty darn inexpensive considering the alternatives.

Truer words have never been spokenespecially with their pricetag.
I have some sketches for the quiver but I've got a full plate before I can work a buck to vacform. Spoke with a buddy that's doing a lot of the Fett armor right now, he may be interested in pulling it for those interested but he's swamped with orders until August.
