Anyone an IPMS/USA member? I'd like to see a 'mob' of MF's entered in the Sci-Fi (the CORRECT way to write it ;^P) category at the National Convention in August (Columbus, OH this year) so it would have to have an MF split applied to it.... 15 entries ought to do the trick!

Regards, Robert

Thought i would share with the forum. This is my first completed Hasbro Falcon conversion. Pretty simple; Only two Shapeways parts (Nose cone and radar dish) Sidewalls are MPC kit bash. It took first place in Sci Fi Space Ships category and Best Overall Sci Fi today at VallyCon in California. 640 models entries 140 Sci Fi entries. It was an amazing day. I owe a vote of thanks to this forum for all the great tips.

My next one will be a hero with fully acccurized sidewalls ala Tony Z, fiberoptic cockpit, and gun turret

That's wonderful Mojo!!!

Congratulations!!!

Can wait to see your next one!!!

It's possible to have a good shot of the radar dish and support please? :D

If you don't mind, I will use your shots and I want to mention your price. For me it's excellent!

Many thanks for your great job. My little two parts look wonderful in your creation. Happy to contribute a little bit.

Thanks!!!

Posted this on the Hasbro UK FB page..

Ok the Floorgrills from Tony/Shapeway arrived together with my order of LEDs... Now its Trial Fitting time....:)

Thanks Tony for the wonderful 3D parts

Thanks to you!!! You pushed me to design them. Nobody else than you bought them!!! :D Really happy because they look nice.

I suppose than I can use your shots with your permission, doesn't it? :cool

I've just designed the hall pits octagonal grille for the DeAgo Falcon...

The Tamiya 1/20th Lotus P34 is used all over the 32". I've got this kit and I keep discovering parts on it that are on the Falcon! I'll probably mould and cast the repeatedly significant parts. Interestingly there are a few other Tamiya 1/20th F1 cars which have the same Ford engine sprue as the P34

I don't have the whole kit but managed to get the sprues with the engine parts on them which are very useful. Now I'm thinking I need to get me a whole kit because that part in leyrich's hand is the exact part and the engine deck does need more 3D detailing.

I agree and that's why I ordered mine too, that section sits right on top and it's so obvious

I also have a couple of main engine options coming (both designed with lighting in mind, or not). I hope to have images of those later today for you guys. I think you are going to like. :D And, just to make my life MORE complicated, I will also have both these options for the MPC Falcon, and one for the Fine Molds (1/72) Falcon.

So where can we get these from?
