Agreed, very misleading indeed, the online videos of the shoe demo don't have the blue tinted soles they have the clear soles...Honestly why can't they just make the soles blue? then they'd be right on target!

I am guessing Yeesy Boosts are way more sort after than MAGs and why he keeps refining those models.
Man say what you will but these replicas are bad ass. It's amazing how far these shoes have come starting with markpoons. If there is a way to fix the auto lace in case it breaks down I'm seriously gonna consider getting these.
yeah the power laces should only be for display as the other non power lace replicas should be worn. i would put the power laces on my feet just to feel it work than take em off lol. You have to treat these shoes with respect it's the only way they'll last a long time.
Pretty cool, but does that big wire bump running across the outside forefoot of the shoe (controlling what I assume to be the power lacing) bother anyone???

Looks great. I wonder if they are using seperate batteries for the lacing component.
Doesn't look like there is a sensor in the heel, just done via button it seems.
looks like the on off button is now on the opposite side,and two buttons on the other to fasten and loosten.

Does someone know if there is a new version coming out ? I don't want to spend 1.5k on the autlacing and also not 500 if they break down after 1 time wearing themI would only buy them as a wear pair

I have a set of v3 and got a bunch of hyperadapts.
I agree a powerlace v3.1 or whatever is very risky, already had one adapt fail and have to warranty from Nike.
Out of all the pairs of adapts the motors all have diff sounds/speeds/controls and thats NIKE! lol
Cool for a display piece i guess though!

Then don't buy the power laced version and tread VERY carefully. Or you ask for a "2nds" pair with no lights and have a pair of MAG kicks for around $200. No, you can't have your cake and eat it in this case.

It will be interesting to see just how long NIKE produce self lacing shoes. They have already delivered in their promise of power lacing by 2015. If there is a genuine need for this, then good on them and I hope they keep it going, but if just for a show off, what is the point. And if the motors fail because the design is not 100% thought out, then either they need to step it up or move on.
These PL V3s are gonna be just for show.
So eventually there will be a bunch of Hyperadapts that can't lace...Classic Nike. lol

And at 750 bucks, it is not like they are cheap throw away shoes either.

Yea luckily i offset mine to be free lol but still not as amazing as advertised. When nike replaced my pair they said there was a firmware update also but users cant do it only
if they complained and sent back. Which didnt make any sense so i had them send a brand new pair.
Id assume in the future in 2.0 they do bluetooth lacing controls on nike/apple watch but $750 isnt for everyone
