Star Trek III - (Scotty's) Captain's Bomber Jacket Pattern?

Hey out there... Does anyone have a good suggestion for a starting pattern for the "Captain's Bomber" jacket from Star Trek III-VI ?

I would love to build one of these, but need a good pattern to start with.... If I can find a good starting place, I can make the pattern for others...
