Aliens Air lock release - identify parts?

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on the parts used to make this prop. I guess the handle is from an aeroplane? The red control panel, I wondered if might be from a door entry system or possibly some type of voltage meter reader equipment?

Any suggestions/links much appreciated!
