Hey guys, been lurking on this forum for several years and finally decided to start my own project. I have started with an iron man helmet using the Dungbeetle file unfolded by MrOreo123.
Over all I am happy with the helmet, I think its a little big but I'm not bothered as this is going to be more for display and then occasionally wearing. I used pva glue for the first half then changed to using hot glue that was much easier and a lot faster.
I plan to resin the outside of the helmet to seal it, then use polyurethane resin on the inside to make it rigid, then hopefully peel the card off the plastic, but think I might need to sand it off, then paint.
Unfortunately I need to wait till the 30th till I get paid to order the polyurethane resin and paint.
Any tips and feedback would be appreciated.
