Does anyone recognise these items?

For my Viper build. http://www.buildsbybaz.com/category/viper-build/

On the left, (port side) of the cockpit on the shelf near the pilot's arm, are some everyday items they used in the Battlestar Galactica MK II Colonial Viper screen used prop. I need help trying to find the real world items they may have used.

The large black panel with all the buttons and dials is a control panel from a video editing machine called an AMPEX VPR-80. The red switch far left is the power switch from an old IBM personal computer.

The next item from the AMPEX panel is a mystery so far, though I may be cracking it with help from others.

It looks like the knob and lever is a throttle control stick from an aircraft, but the black unit it is attached to could be anything. Someone suggested it may be a clearance light housing from a truck with the lens removed.

Lastly I have the two items either side of the red switch to identify.

The red lamp is proving extremely difficult to find in all kinds of industries where lamps may be used.

Th octagonal item appears to be a speaker, but with an octagonal cone and square housing, I have yet to find an image of one anywhere else. It could alos be an air vent out of something or even the base of a joystick or gear stick.

Please, if you know what any of these are and where to get them, let me know.

Cheers,

Baz.

I'm not sure if the octagon thing is a speaker. To me it seems like it might be the plate a joystick come up through on an arcade machine, but it really could be anything. As far as the red lens, try searching for pilot light lenses, that might get you closer to what you need.

I'm sure I've seen the small piece with the lever on before (without the lever of course) Could be n electric window switch from a car or a toggle switch surround. can't find the exact one but here are some things similar.

The "joystick" come`s from the F15 Eagle.

Here`s other person, thats also making a 1:1 replica of the Viper. https://projectviper.wordpress.com/

And here i`ve found a bunch of pic`s, that have close up`s and ton`s of items ect. You`ll need to plow to some trash, but the link brings you strait to the page you`ll like i think.

And as far i now, it seems like the have use`d a lot of items/parts from the F15 -F22.

I`ve got to run now, to head to work, but if you need more ore need some things else that i`ve found here i`ll take a run again tonight.

The F16 joystick is in the centre between the pilots knees. The joystick on the port side shelf is a different one. I have both.

The Viper project on wordpress is not the same version as mine. His is TOS MK II, mine is the 2003 reimagined MKII. Vastly different from each other, inside and out.

I already have most of the instruments from the aviation industry. It's just those little greeblies are proving difficult to fine. I waded through Aaron Harvey's flickr account a long time ago and saved every picture he took of the Viper. However, the model I am using is the GCI model for the series. There are differences again, especially on the outside, between that and the actual prop.

A little breakthrough:

The lever with the red knob is a Piper Mixture handle off a Seneca or something similar and they have put a right angle bend in the lever.

Found the red lamp!! WOOHOO!!
