What can i use for the ribbed glove under Iron Man's gauntlet?

I would like something relatively cheap, something with a good looking material, can be painted that red. Thank you!

if you cant find anything, id go for a normal glove and then stick something like shrink tube over the parts that need the effect.

thats as a backup thing, a real glove would be easier but possibly more expensive.

Good idea. Thank you. My initial thought was a glove liner with hot glue to make the rings then painted. But I want something that looks good.

On a side note, is there a paint that won't crack while flexed?
