Ryan Gosling 'K' - Blade Runner 2049!

I’m working on a wallet with a EL tape light. I’m going to see if I can get it to work without the bulky inverter. It’s temporarily folded up inside the wallet that’s why it’s so puffy. I’ll probably try to cut it too. Right now it is lighting up with two 3v coin batteries. The light is nice but it’s a bit too small in width. The tape only costed 9 bucks on eBay.

I can confirm that the K sweater from the opening scenes (Sapper Morton visit & First Baseline Test) is the Rag & Bone Avery in Navy. Please see the pics below for confirmation:

Sadly, this piece is from F/W 2015 and is long out of stock everywhere. It was initially released as a crewneck sweater in Heather Grey and Navy, then as a shawl collar cardigan the following year in different colors (Charcoal, Black, and Green). I called the Rag & Bone outlets, and they searched their entire company-wide database, but it's no longer available in any retail market. The best place to find one now would be eBay. I was able to track one down in my size Medium, so keep checking - they're out there.

Another sweater is also very cool !

I got this one from Brooks Brothers, but the collar is very tight. But it does have a similar fit.

Similar to the Rag&Bone with the honeycomb knit pattern.

Interesting! Jamie Dornan wore the same sweater but in heather grey in one of the Fifty Shades films.

So at the moment we ID’ed his boots as Bates, one sweater as Rag & Bone and the jacket as Matchless? It wouldn’t be hard to surmise that the rest of his wardrobe is from a brand as well and not a custom made garment.

It's starting to look that way. With a lot of the items being from previous seasons, I'm beginning to wonder if Gosling did infact hand pick items from his own wardrobe. We know he does this on other films, we know he had a lot of input on the costume (coat color and fur) and we also know Ford picked his own costume items. It make sense.

It wouldn't surprise me as you're absolutely right about Gosling's input into his costumes. An example that springs to mind are the slim grey Altamont jeans he wore on screen in Only God Forgives which he wore almost daily for a few years in his personal life.

Wondering if anyone else is curious about the white tag on the lapel. Maybe it's the brand of fur they used? Its probably more cost effective to find a close enough alternative brand, however perhaps those making a DIY coat want it to be as faithful to the original as possible.

I found this german online retailer, I didn't see any indications that they are out of stock, hopefully that's the case for those of you interested.
I haven't tried ordering the knitted sweater simply because I'm not all that interested in paying that much (nevermind shipping to DC).

**BEWARE** there are strong indications that this retailer is FAKE. Its very unlikely they have a backstock of an item 2+years old in every size and various colors.

Let me jump in on that one - that is just a reflection of the neon signs in the glass, not a tag on the jacket.

And let me comment on this - that's not a legit site. No one has full stock of this 2 1/2 year old sweater, certainly not in every size made and in multiple quantities. And there's no contact info for the site. My surefire way of verifying the legitimacy of a site is whether they supply contact info (meaning a phone number, email, and/or physical address). This site has NONE of those. Buyer beware! FYI, I also researched a few Japanese/Asian sites that showed this item in stock - all fake as well.

*faceplam* of course its a reflection, it would be an odd place for a tag and looking closer it's pretty obvious. You're most likely right, I don't have much experience ordering clothes online and you seem pretty savvy to it, you make some good points. I'll edit my comment, I wouldn't want someone to make an impulse order out of excitement and end up getting ripped off. I'm guessing the most likely scenario for a legit find is buying it secondhand, whats your opinion?

Also found them in black here:

Website based in Estonia. Looks like a potential scam as they have like 1500+ in stock.

I've ordered one. Call me silly but I've done it on credit card so I've got protection if it never turns up or turns up junk. They use DHL and the website seems to have a 'safe' rating. I imagine they'll be knockoffs of the real deal, but again, I can fall back on credit card protection if it's not what it says it is. Worth the gamble?
