I wanted to avoid the use of JB Weld, so I made this jig on my mini lathe to drill the Kalimar knob holes in my Eumig. I replaced the factory Kalimar screws with 0-80 slotted flat head screws, I cannot seem to find anything online that matches the original metric slotted oval head Kalimar screws, so the 0-80 slotted flatheads will have to do. So far it is working well and is a rock-solid way to mount the knobs. The screw holes are 1/16" and I used 0-80 nuts on the back side to hold them tight. I had to mirror the hole pattern on each knob to have access on the inside of the Eumig to attach the nuts. I still had to do quite a bit of grinding on the inside to get the nuts to fit somewhat flat, but it worked out.
