Pilot is going to be on Amazon for viewing and rating, where they'll apparently make a decision to do a run.. But in the mean time, a trailer to get those juices flowing..

Fingers crossed on this, I need more zombies in my life..

Kind of funny. The movie started out as a pitch for a television series, and that movie has now spawned a potential television series. It is promising though that the movies original writers and producer will be working on the show.

Apparently Amazon will be airing it with 13 other pilots and viewers voting will determine which ones get green lighted into a series

Oh! Thanks for the update on this. I feel like I work with zombies, but I can't enough zombie flicks.

Just watched the trailer, it was "meh", could go either way. The movie was really well done, so they are stepping into some big expectainion with this. ;)

I agree with Bigdaddy...meh. Seems too forced and the characters don't seem as natural to me (Woody seemed to fall into the character perfectly but his replacement seems forced)

Watched it yesterday. I personally thought it was terrible. The acting of the two male actors seems off. It almost seemed like a continuation fan film. The quirkiness Woody Harrelson did in the movie is completely gone in the series.

If it goes to series lets hope Amazon replaces the cast they used in the pilot. As the actors lack chemistry & acting talent.

I didn't think it was "terrible", but it could have been so much better; definitely a weak attempt compared to the movie.

My biggest problem was Tallahassee--the character, that is, not the actor. Harrelson's Tallahassee was clearly more balls than brains, but he wasn't a clueless oaf like Kirk Ward's Tallahassee (again, I blame the writers for this, not Ward). Tyler Ross (Columbus) was good, but can't (or didn't) do nerdy/quirky nearly as well as Jesse Eisenberg. Maiara Walsh (Wichita) and Izabela Vidovic (Little Rock) were capable, but didn't (or weren't given the opportunity to) make their characters anything other than thankless secondary characters to Tallahassee and Columbus.

The effects were quite good, but I thought they got a little heavy-handed with the zombies, as though they knew the script was weak and decided to feature a bunch of zombie sight gags in the backgrounds as a distraction.

I wouldn't mind seeing two or three more episodes just to see if they could improve on what they did in the pilot, but without some serious fine tuning I can't see this version of Zombieland being a hit if it becomes a series.

Totally agree Zombie.. I definitely need a few more episodes to see how it goes.. Watching it, I thought that Tallahassee would have been a better role for Bruce Campbell.. :p

Horrible, cant think of any way to be more positive about it. Why they chose to follow the same characters and not go another route is beyond me as the characters are already established. This just reeks of the Ferris Bueller tv series. No matter how hard the actors try or try not, its not going to live up to the film. The pilot seemed like a what not to do editing class project.

Terrible show, uncreative, boring and just not smart enough to interest me in any way. That being said, it will probably be a hit.

Watching that trailer, I felt like Stewie when he talked about Jim Henson dying and leaving us with "wrong sounding Muppets". :wacko

I liked it and although the actors were weak, it's always going to be hard to match the cast of the film. I liked the opening sequence 'You take the pickle don't you?' :D

I was expecting more ... thought it was going to be alot stronger
Considering the movie was well acted and seemed to have a much stronger plot

I gotta add my vote for "Horrible". It reminds me of the very short lived TV showed spawned from "Animal House" called "Delta House". It had a few of the original actors but was terrible. It had none of the feel of the source material. That's how I see that trailer. As Robstyle said, if they were to do this, they should have completely new characters, just set in this universe. But based on this trailer, I can't say I'll be watching.
