"you know who I am, you know what I do"

"You know who I am. you know what I do" - Quint., Jaws 1975. ok years ago i would buy stuff on ebay and sometimes a seller would throw in a little something something. at one point i had a bunch of resin sharks teeth, and I'd give them to different people at different times, well i had three left and decided to make a necklace. this is the story, while not a prop per se, the techniques could help someone out down the road. to begin with a tooth.

next i used sanding sealer and brown shoe polish. well who uses shoe polish on shoes anymore?

ok i wiped it off but took too much off, ended up reapplying more shoe polish

ok the next pic shows all 3 teeth together

Re: "you know who I am, you know what I do"

the teeth have been drilled and eye screws have been installed and clear floor wax applied on the enamel surface

I next braided some brown hemp cord for the necklace to hang the teeth on

I decided to make a toggle type of catch so the length of the necklace would be shorter than if one had to slip it over one's head

Re: "you know who I am, you know what I do"

i make wood fishing lures, and had a very small wood blank ready so i drilled it, and colored it with color pencils for a subdued look, after that i sealed it

Re: "you know who I am, you know what I do"

i then strung the teeth on the cord, attached the toggle and made a loop for ir. the teeth were cast from fossils and that was the look i was going for
