I'm not knowledgable in this kind of stuff at all, but that looks like the same part that is all around the engines of the falcon, and if memory serves, it's part of one of the formula one racing car models.

Actually you have several kitbashed parts in that picture.
Landing gear struts from the 1/24 Bandai Messerschmitt.
From the 1/35 Panzer III.
From the DML 1/9 Kettenkrad Motorcycle.
You also have a " T " underneath that could be either from Plastruct made of plastic or brass as it was originally.
