X-files movie "Spoilers!" Please merge with Off-toppic

I am a bit confused. What happened to Mulders and Scully's son? Is there a side story that I missed.


Now a general X-files question. In season 8 last episode I thought the episode ends with the baby moving the mogel. In my dvds it doesn't end that way. I still need to look for alternate endings on disk.
