I did notice that, but it was far too much hassle to take the thing apart just to get the pin out. LOL!

A tiny nitpick for accuracy. The pin holding the ejection port door is in backwards. The part with the C clip should be facing the buisness end. The barrel nut is what keeps it from backing out on the real deal.

Aside from the entire build looking utterly amazing, that kind of jumped out me.

Nice work dude! Can you make the cutouts squared though? They shouldn't have rounded corners as far as I can tell.

A endmill rotates, so it makes round corners.

For any other shape you need to use a file and some good oldschool elbowgrease. :love

I might be the "blaster master", but hell...Marcus is THE master of accuracy!!!
Sometimes I´m just to tired of a specific project to take care of all little details. I just want to have it finished and displayed :wacko
So quite a few of my builds are still missing one or two "things" :lol

I finished them yesterday, just wasn´t motivated to upload the pic after recharging the camera.

Now that I finally have all the parts in hand, painting and assembly can begin!

Apart from the Matsuo black resin M16 upper and lower receiver shell and bolt (trigger, switches, charging handle, delta ring, etc. are real), everything else is either the original found part or in the case where the original prop used a custom machined part, mine are also machined from the same materials. I will eventually incorporate real M16/AR15 receiver parts.

Everything will be as far as possible, assembled just like the original prop.
