WIP - Boba Fett Pre-pro Sling Pistol

Just wanted to share a work in progress on the Boba Fett Pre-pro Sling Pistol. This is a collaboration from a local group of guys that alwasy wanted this pistol. You know who you are. Since the knowdlege of the Kaiser and a few other small things that have come across, we were finally able to get pretty close to what appears on the Pre-pro Fett. There are a few things are still missing. Hopefully we'll be able to find out what they are before it's completed by the end of June. At first, these were being made only for the group, but since there was alot of talk about people doing and working on the all white Supertrooper fett and the pre-pro Fett, we decided to sell a few.

Again, this is a work in progress, tell me what you think.

Yeah, all Kaiser parts will be hollow with real screws and even more solid then the real ones. The trigger will be dye in red resin. We'll be using the highest and most durable black resin for all the kaiser and barrel parts.

Also, the main block is being made to also fit the real Kaiser in case anyone has them already. In the first limited run, they will be sold as a kit with all the parts. Later on, I could do separate parts to fit your Kaisers.

really cool! I have both Keiser parts and an old crappy resin 'gun' piece for the top of it... I would certainly be interested in your 'later on' individual part runs, as I would love a top non-kaiser piece that looks that sharp!

What is the sliding barrel part originally?

All molds are completed expect the main top body. Just waiting to finish off a few details. Production will commence soon to be ready for shipment by the end of June.

Testing armatures and hardware with white resin. The final resin pieces will be heavy duty high end black resin. I’ll start a new interest list in a couple of weeks when I start making some black castings and show a final prototype.

Here's an update testing out the black high end resin and tints of the red trigger. Also the main block is ready to mold. Everything will interlock together. You will also have the option for the long barrel non painted pistol or the short barrel. The short barrel is widely seen on the finished pre-pro fett. there will be two screw holes for short or long barrel.
