does anyone know if the New Star Trek Playmates Toys for the new ST Movie will be sold in stores such as Toys R Us / Target/ Walmart /etc ?

According to the official site, they will be sold at all of the locations you mentioned and also K-Mart and amazon.com. I ordered mine from newforcecomics.com. Official release date is April 19, 2009.
