Why are some blocks, such as the title block, white?

Let me try to explain this. Why are some blocks that you have to fill in white? For example, if I start a new thread, the title block is white. It makes it real hard to see what your typing in there. The weird thing is that under the user CP, some are white and some aren't.

I went through the first couple pages and didn't see anything else on this but I'm sure there probably is, so sorry.

BTW, I'm using the SW skin.

Are you saying that when you create a new topic the "Title:" box has a white background? It should have a black background as shown in the picture below (I just tested it and it's black for me).

Also, what browser are you using and have you tried clearing out your cache and cookies?

EDIT: cleared cookies, etc... and no change.

I'll test it out using my Vista/IE rig later today and see if I can replicate the problem.

Do you know how to do a screen capture and post the picture here (like I did in my previous post)? It would help to see what it looks like on your screen.

do you have any special toolbars installed? Like Google or Yahoo. They might be treating it like a special field that can be auto filled in by the toolbar. If you are using the google toolbar there is a way to turn this option off.

I use a google toolbar. I'll turn it off and see if it does anything.

I just finished testing Vista/IE and I wasn't able to duplicate the problem that you are having.

I also tested it with Google Toolbar installed and couldn't duplicate the problem with that install either. Now it could be that your Google Toolbar settings are somehow different, when I did my install I just accepted the defaults.

If clearing out the cache and cookies doesn't fix the problem, sycor's suggestion seems to be the most logical so, do you have any other IE add-ons installed?

Also, as I mentioned above, a screen capture could still be helpful.
