Does your printer have a direct feed? By that I mean a port, usually in the back of the printer, where you can feed in a sheet of paper so it doesn't have to pass through the U-curve of the normal paper feed. If so, and if the feed path is wide enough to handle the extra width of the folder tabs, you can print it just like a normal document by sending the folder through the direct feed.
That's the method I use to print up dossiers and security folders for my "Call of Cthulhu" tabletop games.
