Which Y wing survived question

Hi All

I'm doin an MR Y wing repaint at the moment, and I can't decide which one to paint it up as. I like the Tie kill marking one....but then I like some features on the others too...I dunno...

Which is the Y that survives at the end of ANH ?

I thought I might do that one, or maybe my own version with a bit of a mixture of paint details that I like from all the others...

Any thoughts ?

The one in the cartoon- should only be 3 colors, no weathering.

Wasnt there an extra pilot running up to Luke after he landed?

Was there an unseen ship that also survived?

According to the Star Wars main website, there were other pilots who returned also- there were a bunch who came running up to Luke, but who's to say if they were on that mission. If you recall the award ceremony, there were a buttload (that's quite a few) pilots suited up.

Well thanks guys, I reckon I'll do my own thing then, and see how it turns out.

That Y-Wing is a two-seater, just like the one Leia flies in the Marvel Comics. Now THATS a scratch-build! :lol
