Where to get Silicon and Resin in the UK?

Now im from the UK, and I know that in the US everyone raves on about Smooth-On...
It does appear that there is 1 supplier in the UK for Smooth On products but its prohibitively expensive...
nearly 40 quid for a trial unit and 120-150 for a gallon for silicon... Didnt bother checking resin prices........ D:


So question is for us in the land of dwindling overpriced resources... Where could I get more affordable casting and mould making supplies?

Somethings coming up that I might want to use some... Even high temp mould for pewter casting...

Its a cool project ive been wanting to do but dont want to say anything and jinx it till i have something good to show. Though I might put a post on asking for some references

Oh while im talking about projects.... I have JUST started doing some work towards finishing the voyager tricorder prop. Been editing electronics and pcb design, while ive been waiting for parts for my new printer build.

Might have something to show in a few weeks...

Anyway if anyone can give me some supply details and cheaper alternatives... it would be great

I use Maragon Casting & Moulding, Plaster-Of-Paris, Alginate, Modroc, Latex, Cold-Cure Rubber, RTV Silicone ...
Tomps are good too: TOMPS : Mould Making & Casting Supplies

Ahhhaaa thank you.... TOMPS seem the best option.... Only because Maragons site is horrific to navigate and the product descriptions are confusing...
