Where is Wade Egan ???

Does anybody knows where Wade Egan is..? The guy from Las Vegas who makes Indiana Jones leather gear and Han Solo rigs.
His site : Wade Egan Leather Co. Top Quality, Handmade AMERICAN Leather Craft

The reason I'm asking is because I ordered a Han Solo rig from him quite some time ago and still nothing. Payment was send to him December 2012 with delivery before Celebration Europe II. So he had 8 months to make the belt !

Of course the celebration came and went and no belt... The last time I heard from Wade was March. Also, I was never unfriendly and I've only contacted him once every one or two months for an update. Only my last email wasn't that friendly, it was the one I send the day before leaving for the celebration. In fact, the day I realised I had to go as Mr. everybody instead as Han Solo. You can imagine my frustration... My costume was made by Magnoli Clothiers with a Clothears vest, Todd's boots and a blaster made with parts from the latest ANH run here on the RPF. Sooo, not the cheapest stuff out there and I couldn't wear it because I had everything but that damn rig Wade promised to deliver before the 26th of July. I hope, now you understand my frustration.

Is somebody having the same problem or waiting for a rig or an item that has to be made by Wade Egan or know how to contact him or how to send him a message ?
Thanks.

I believe there was another thread on this issue - some other folks had some problems with Mr. Eagan too.

That is frustrating, though. If you at least had notice you could have borrowed one, or even picked up a costumebase belt or something.

Yeah I know, but I had fate in him... I think my Han will end up in the Junkyard now so can keep concentrating on my Fett. Should have enough time until the next convention now. :D

That really sucks, sorry. I heard from Wade again recently. His situation got worse, but now it's starting to get a little better. He's definitely still planning to honor all orders, it's just taking him some time to get back on his feet.

Wade told me that he's planning to have his shop set up again around the end of September at which point he'll begin working on all his back orders.

Can anyone tell me why we always hear updates from friends of these flakes, and "he told me he is ramping up again and will fulfill orders soon" posts? Shouldn't these guys communicate directly with the people who placed the orders? Shouldn't they be kept in the loop? It seems like these guys fall behind and hide. Then they make statements to friends hoping those friends will post it to alert the customers. That is poor business to me. Skip discussions with friends, and send out frequent emails to those who have paid you and let them know what the status is on a weekly basis or at least monthly.

I think the reason this happens is that they truly fall off the radar and when they do finally pop up to give some news, it's to someone they're in regular communication with. I'm not just a "friend" of Wade's, but we've been doing business together through my clothing site for a couple of years, so I'm at the top of his priority list, so obviously, I'll be getting the first update, which I'm more than happy to pass. The point is that he's got a lot of trouble at the moment, so going to the various forums looking for threads about himself can be somewhat time consuming. Sure, a mass e-mail update to his contacts would be simple enough, but perhaps he doesn't save all customer addresses, etc.

Anyway, Wade has always struck me as a good guy (I've never met him personally, only dealt with him over e-mails), so I'm sure he'll come through for everyone in the end.
