Where can i get large amounts of pewter

A friend who recently invested in a spincaster is looking to buy a large quantity of casting pewter (50-100 KG).

Any ideas where one can buy that at a good price?

Try to find a local metal recycler/scrap yard near you. They work with metals all day so should be able to help you. You can get different casting metals a specialist art/crafts shops, but count on paying LOTS more for it.

Also, if you're doing stuff that will be handled against the skin a lot, like props or jewelry, then I strongly suggest you specify to them that you want the lead free stuff or they might give you auto body pewter.
