What's the deal? Another misguided fan?

If you read the text it says it's a DP helmet. I don't think the sellers trying to pass anything off as a prop. I think he's just overestimating the worth and rarity of the item. A neat item for a Vader fan , but not as rare as the seller thinks.

It also says low number 29/500 thats a plain outright lie i think he is trying to pass it off as a DP delux when it isn't even a CA its a standard the cheapest of the cheap they werent limited unless he means 29/500 that he has in his garage :lol

Yes, that's what I was talking about. DP Standard are not limited and he made it look like they are.

I'm guessing some dealer years ago took it upon themselves to have Dave Prowse sign and number their stock of DP helmets.
This guy is just reselling it and overestimating it's value.

I guess if he thinks he's an expert on paranormal research, Him thinking he's got a rare vader helmet is easy to expain lol.. Maybe the Spirits told him it was rare :)

That would be my guess as well. The seller should have clarified this in the listing.

I still have my original DP Vader helmet from the original release in the late 70's and even then I realized it was a p.o.s., but it was all we had at the time. Adding Prowse's autograph would probably increase it's value by a couple of hundred dollars, but this guy has definitely overestimated the value of this piece, especially considering it's in less-than-mint condition.

Then again, as P.T. Barnum said, "There's a sucker born every minute." :p

No offense but $200 for a Prowse signature i think is reaching a bit maybe $20 it isn't like he signs things very rarely is it.
