I found a Tom Servo head at my mom's house and was thinkin' about throwing one together. I didn't realize how expensive some of the parts were. It would be cheaper to buy the licensed replica.
Does anyone know anybody making cheaper casts or anyother cost effective solution?
Im not sure if any cheaper options have become available in the years since I finished mine, but the best source I know of in the bot-building business is Joe Crowe at www.botcave.net
The licenced ones were limited editions and about 3" tall if I remember correctly, and pretty pricey to boot. they are all individually numbered on the underside though, which is quite nice

I have a Servo from the botcave that's been sitting in my closet for years. It needs a little touch up paint work but if you'd like it I might be willing to sell it. Let me know. I can send pics.
