I got a new round screen that does fit better and is supported directly by the Pi Zero.

Was starting to put it together, but still waiting for some parts, which seem to be lost at customs. Thanks for reminding me to order them again

Acid etching does work, but without earlier experience it will take some trial & error. Having the cutouts done with water cutting is definitely best basis.

Still interested myself. Got busy on another project and didn't want to bug you too much
