Walking Dead Sheriff Uniform

Ok more stuff coming in!!! Today got my holster ( just cut the bottom out now and it looks awesome), my badge and patches, Still waiting on my second "Python" , might not have to get the third cuz I got the grps off the first one (the wood type textured grips) so if i get the grips off the second one by any means necessary lol should be able to put he wood ones on.

Oh and AKIN the box the first one came in was like your box and I was able to get them off very carefully and patiently so if the silver one is the same type I think I'm in business. I appreciate your help and advice thank you!

Waiting on what will be my bloody version shirt, belt, keepers, handcuff case, name plate and speed loader case from QM.

Just gotta find boots, get my watch and find a place to put my patches on and I am good to go. It's really coming along thanks to all here!!!
 
Any dry-cleaning place that also does alterations will be able to put the patches on, if you don't have an actual law-enforcement uniform shop nearby to do it.

What was involved in removing the grips?

First i unscrewed that screw, it did screw out even though it isnt really serving any purpose. Then starting at where the grip meets the barrel used a screw driver thin enough to slide between I pried them apart slowly, easily and working my way around the grip. The grip side with the screw will come off first because inside the other side of the grip is screwed to the canister for the gas. Also the other side that is screwed inside has a tough spot in the corner where it meets the barrel. The post must be really in there or maybe glued. So, I actually ended up breaking the post inside but just the post not the grip. And, it didn't prevent it from being put back together and felt just as secure as before I took them apart.
 
Okay that's bizarre... the screw on mine was actually molded into the plastic. It's also not gas powered, it's spring powered... huh...

that is weird, yeah mine takes green gas, whatever the hell that is lol, but as soon as i can i'll post pics of the box. Do pix have to be on a website to be posted on here?

You can get green gas from any airsoft store... it's a kind of propellent, like CO2. You charge the tank in the gun in order to fire airsoft rounds...

Ah figured as much but had never heard of it but I don't use these either so I guess I wouldn't have lol

Since I haven't seen a good pic of Rick's boots, what do you guys think of these? They are made by Justin but I don't think they are the model referenced earlier. I also was trying to find something I might wear another time other than just the cosume.

So here is my holster with the bottom cut out. I think it sticks out the right amount. What do you guys think? It is a swivel holster, but obviously not basket weave. Best I can do right now, but was thinking about getting some black basket weave from something else cheap and gluing it to the holster. Good idead or bad? LOL

In the holster is the first revolver I will be using the grips from when the one with the silver barrel comes. So I need your opinions on the grips. The texturing seems accurate. But is the color to dark?

Thank you very much! The only downside is being the first time I ever did it and not being familiar with the inner workings of the gun I must have moved something inside and it doesn't "fire". I can cock the hammer back and it makes that great sound that comes with that lol, but once it's in that position I can't fire it I have to squeeze the trigger and push it back into place just like you would a real gun after cocking it and changing your mind lol.

I'm very happy with how it looks and the cocking sound but contemplatng buying the third to do it again so I can "fire" it. I don't know!

Looks great! where did you get your holster from?
And on taking guns apart... always be very mindfull of where things go, i always lay them out on a table in the order i took them out, and kinda make a outline/layout of the gun. i do this to my real weapons and my paintball guns as well.
 
I was just re watching the pilot episode and noticed that Lam Kendal and Leon basset have different hat badges, also the other sheriffs department involved in the car chase scene also has a similar/same hat badge, is this a Georgia badge? and has any one seen these badges in production or given any thought of making them?
