Walking Dead Season 7

If only someone in the group had seen El Meriachi before the zombie Apocalypse they would know to shoot Negan in the face !!! Simple as that .

Carl could have pulled the trigger three times in the house when they were stealing the meds and oops look at that Daryl is even there . they would not even have to go rescue him .

Really tense episode! Still some inexplicsble writing in Carl's behavior but minor quibble. Love the Ayn Rand-like motto about plunderers :lol

So, they don't have a look out anymore? An entire force of men in trucks can pull right up to the gate and surprise the people inside??? And is the gate unlocked? It just rolls closed?

Good Lord, these idiots don't deserve Alexandria.

I was thinking the same thing...but then I guess all that Negan buildup would be wasted.

Seriously Alexandria seems to have something in the water supply to make you docile and stupid ! It seems to have effected ALMOST everyone .

exactly, this is the only hard thing i find to understand. how many men/women did Negan have with him at the alexandria purge? im guessing the max... 50? but figuring more like 30. did you see the arsenal they took from rick and the crew?! while the saviors are at the gate BLOW THEM OUT OF THE WATER!! open fire and kill them all, no more Negan problems.

im also guessing second in command is the guy with the burned face... dwight is it? or the other guy that looks like Negan with the mustache. either way, you had dwight and Negan in the same place at the same time, blast them both!!!

i seriously wonder how many followers Negan has, i tried googling and couldnt find anything. i just found that hard to believe they handed everything over, i would have died trying to kill Negan

On the Talking Dead they said this was two days after Glen and Abraham were killed. They were expecting the Saviors to come in a week. So they either didn't have time or they figured, like Rick said, that they were watching them and if they tried to hide weapons they might know. From now on though they need to build a hidy hole to start a new cache. The first rule of the Negan ruled Apocalypse is never keep a list of your weapons/supplies!

That's what I was wondering is if the Saviors will let them keep any new weapons they find. The producer (?) on Talking Dead said they might not have intended to take all their guns until Carl pulled his stupid stunt. That was bad writing because Carl was there for the showdown and saw that Negan wouldn't take any crap. If I remember correctly the Hilltop people had guns, but no ammo was left. My dad said the Kingdom people had guns, but I don't remember. So I said it looks like Rick's group got special attention because they attacked the Saviors.

Oh and I hope Michonne's rifle had a messed up scope because there's no freaking way you can miss something from 10 ft. away with a scope. That was dumb.

Why the hell was this an extended episode? Any tension that might have built up leaked out through the padding. I don't think JDM is working out too well as Negan, either. Good actor, but his schtick is already getting grating. He needs to exude menace and fear, not the feeling of a playground bully who only gets away with it because he's surrounded by stooges.

I think the dedicated episodes are also sucking the life out of the show. This arc worked way better in the comic where the various plotlines and locations were mixed and matched, keeping it ensemble and providing a sense of pace and progression.

aaah the only night i missed it. had to watch the ending of 90 day fiancé. that muhammad is a real jerk... anyway lol yes i remember ezekiel's men with the pigs had guns. you know i didnt understand about michonne right away... i was wondering if she was firing blanks, and then once the walker got closer and closer i figured the sight was way off. i totally forgot she was never really a gun person

i also took it as she's training to snipe Negan? did talking dead mention anything about her having a agenda against Negan?

i also wanted to ask, now alexandria has no guns at all? even ricks famous Colt python is gone? did i see correct, in last weeks episode when daryl was trying to steal a motorcycle the fat guy that came out with the circle of guys had ricks python? the gun sights matched, im wondering when rick handed over the gun? the night glenn and abraham died did Negan take their weapons? i dont remember that?

i understand where your coming from, a few times i was pulled out by what he was saying..
like how can i even take this guy serious right now? especially when he starts making penis references or jokes. he did it last episode, and this episode he did something else if not the same.. he was so much scarier and serious the night he killed glenn and abraham. he would throw in his little sarcasm here and there that night, but it made him even scarier.

now these 2 episodes showing him nothing but sarcastic really doesnt come off scary to me.. maybe once he starts smashing peoples heads in again it will feel different

No one outside the house would have know what happened and all negans men were in search party's of 2 or 3 and most of Alexandria was gathered round there own guns being loaded up and carted away !
Rick , michonne and Caryl with negans two dead men's guns head strait for there own stash of weapons killing the guys currently in the street loading there weapon on the truck and start passng out weapons to the crowd of Alexandrians standing around pouting .

Also every one of negans men hate him and obay out of fear if he is dead then why are they gonna care hence the El Mariachi reference.

Mind you I don't want this to happen Negan is the only reason I'm still watching and that might not last . its just negan is defiantly the type of character no one would miss if they went away ! Outside of entertainment purpose of course LOL !

In reality it would be pretty dumb for Negan to go on the first collection at all, since the Saviours had little idea of what they would find at Alexandria. A sniper in the tower could have taken him out before the gates were even opened. But...dramatic licence :rolleyes

I would hazard a guess that there are people in the North Korean high command that don't like the glorious leader and have had ample opportunity, yet he still breathes.

There would have been people in Saddam's palace too, and Bin Laden's bunker. Even Hitler had only one serious attempt on him.

When you are ruled by fear you don't just fear the guy at the top, you fear everyone. You don't want to be the one caught as dissenter as there are many people too afraid for their own lives that would turn you in. Even if his men don't like him they are not going to do anything about it. And its pretty clear some of them are quite happy with their place in that world order.

If they had took out Negan I think the saviours would have destroyed them and then likely turned on each other in the resulting play for the top spot.

I liked that Michonne wasn't good with the rifle, it shows that marksmanship is a skill. Not just a case put a lovely scope on it and you instantly become an olympic level shooter. She's never been much of a gun user and it would have been more jarring to see her get a perfect head shot at 300 yards first time. Plus its a basic human trait, she wants to be good at it right away, like we all do with anything we pick up, she was getting frustrated and erratic by the end.

A good episode all round, so far this is the best season they've put out for me. Hope it stays that way.

The stuff with Michonne and the rifle was a play on what happens in the comics with Andrea, who is an excellent shot with a scoped rifle at long range. In the comics, they don't take all the guns, and the Alexandians try to fight back against the saviors for the first time pretty quickly. Andrea and her rifle are a big part of that. The writers, I think were just trying to tell comic readers that we shouldn't expect them to have a sniper in the TV show.

My first thought when she missed was "The scope is off, adjust the scope" and then I realized of course that TV writers don't know that. They probably think, like most people who don't know guns, that every scope is zeroed in automatically. You can miss by 2 or 3 feet if the scope is off. And storing a rifle inside a chimney can throw off a scope that is already zeroed. If you don't store and handle the gun properly it will lose zero.

Any way, I don't think the technical stuff was the point of the scene. I think it was about the TV writers saying "She's not Andrea." to the comic readers.

And most of those leaders found themselves alone or with very few friends when the end came .
By the way at they attempted to kill Hitler more than anyone in history he was ridiculously lucky !!!!!

How would the saviors destroyed them ? No one looked into the gunshot but Negan himself , n there were all in groups of two or three including by the giant pile of guns they were stealing yet there were a lot of townsfolk out watching the robbery.

Take the victim mentality out and you realize you have the upper hand.

Not saying it would not be a bit of a fight but was that not ricks whole point the last few seasons to the town ???

Then carry it out the survivors left . they will never mess with Alexandria again
Met em on the road the blew us up, sent guys to get em they killed em, sent more guys they kills em. Negan explained things killed two of there's then gets killed on the first collection along with most his crew .

Uh let's leave them alone !!!!

Just the show would get shorter soooooo never mind LOL !
I love the samurai not being able to shoot though that was great !

Not to mention that most people wouldn't understand the concept of zero and just think that with a scope all you have to is lay the crosshairs on your target and you'll hit, no matter the range. If the target is farther away than what the scope was zeroed at then you're going to have to raise the gun a bit and set the target below the center of the crosshairs. Likewise if the target is closer then you're going to have aim a little lower and set the target higher than center. But asking a Hollywood script writer, who probably hates and is afraid of guns in real life, to know that is probably a bit much.
