The guy who plays Heath is taking over for Jack Bauer, so I was
positive they'd be writing him off the show entirely. I guess they just wanted to give themselves an option to write him back into the show in the event that the new 24 tanks. I will not be surprised if the next time we see Heath it'll be him running into Daryl working on the fence.
I like Tara too. I'm not sure they needed to dedicate the entire hour to her finding Oceanside's arsenal. I think flashing back to Alexandria, maybe showing Eugene setting up a reloading bench or something might have added some tension and build up to the inevitable
"we need guns" episode that hopefully happens this season.
One of the things that makes me chuckle about the comic is the way they wrote Eugene to "engineer" making bullets. That just made me laugh out loud. There would be lots and lots of reloading benches around, lots of reloading materials in lots of basements, shops, garages, etc. Probably find 50 gal drums full of empty brass in shooting ranges, etc. This is just one more thing most writers don't know anything about I guess. If they happened upon the old Hornady or Remington manufacturing facilities, heck, they'd be all set. They could crank out their own guns and ammo all damn day.
Considering Rosita gave Eugene rimmed brass in either 357mag, 44mag, or 50AE, I'm curious to see if how that's going to magically turn into a rimless 9mm, or 40 cal round!
